[Tavastia]

Tavastia - the centre of the universe called Helsinki. If not for Tavastia, there would be no reason for putting up Helsinki at all. Tavastia has the best rock-metal stage in Finland. Inside the club there are three bars - two on the first floor and one on the second floor.
Tickets for the gigs cost €6 and more. World -famous bands would cost you about €25-30.

Nosturi is another great concert place. The club is quite similar to Tavastia, but it is located rather far from the center and there is no age-limit. But inside the club there is a special alcohol area for entering which you are supposed to show your id:).

[Stella Star]

Stella Star Star is a wonderful club with mirror walls and spacious halls. To the right from the entrance there are cute tables and the billiard zone, to the left – a bar and a small stage. But even famous bands like performing in Stella Star.
The only drawback is its location. The club is really far from what we usually call the center of Helsinki. Anyway Stella Star is a good place and is always worth visiting.

[On the Rocks]

On the ground floor of the club there is a bar. People can always dance to the sounds of rock'n'roll music. The stage is in the basement. Gigs starts at 11pm. Tickets cost €7-8,5 and can be bought only at On The Rocks entrance on the day of the event. From Sunday till Wednesday the access is free of charge, but only if there is no show.

[Semifinal]

This tiny club is some kind of a Tavastia branch. In a very small room there is a very small bar and a very small stage, only 20 cm high. The bands never miss a chance to play in Semifinal , because it is the last step to take before performing in Tavastia. Well, to see a gig in Semifinal is a very interesting experience.

[Loose]

Loose is a cozy bar that maintained the good old atmosphere of rock'n'roll and glam music. The bar is really small, but sometimes it hosts featured parties and live concerts.


[Lost & Found]

Open: Monday-Friday 17.00-4.00, Saturday-Sunday 19.00-4.00. In summer-time (from May, 15 till August, 31) the club is open from 11pm till 4am

The motto of the club is "Hetero friendly gay-club". It explains everything:).
On the ground floor there is a bar. Sometimes, rather rare and funny shows are organized there. The basement is for those who love dancing in smoke.
If you come to Helsinki and want to meet someone, whoever he or she is, even Elvis Presley himself - go to Lost & Found.

[Botta]

Botta, also known as Manala, is a strange place. It has at least three different addresses, but the reason is Botta is a club and Manala is a restaurant, and both are in three-cornered building which sides are on three different streets %) that's it.
Usually there are not that many gigs in Botta. But since 2004 Tuska night-clubs take place there as well, then it's a cool place.

[Klubi & Pakkahoune]

Klubi & Pakkahuone are the most famouse and popular clubs in Tampere. Both are located in old custom house built in 1901, right in front of the railway station. This place in also known as Tammerfest Meeting Point.
Pakkahuone is quite a big venue, especially for Tampere. The club is age unlimited, but there's a bar inside with k-18.   
Klubi is a small hall with a weird stage. And it has k-18.
Tickets to the both clubs are on sale in Epe's, Swamp and Lippupalvelu.

[Kuusisaari]

Kuusisaari - is a concert hall in Oulu. Well, actually Kuusisaari is an island near Oulu, one of many islands. So venue Kuusisaari is on the island. So, there's no address, but there's fields and trees and some bushes. The building is weird, made of red wood. Well, anyway there is a huge space inside and a very good stage.

It looks like 45 Special is the only one real club inside Oulu nowadays, the others are just bars with the stages. The club is cool and real, the center of metal life in Oulu. Noteworthy: in 45 Special metalheads can booze till 4am.

[Puijonsarvi]

Puijonsarvi is unusual place to metal gigs. Actually it's an expencive and bright night club with a disco. But inside the club there's a stage. The stage is funny, it's about 15 inch high, and it doesn't look like feet for rock event at all. But still %) Rock and metal gigs take place there quite ofter, and the club is really cozy.
